MOTAT is pleased to announce that renovations to the MOTAT Meola Road entrance and the adjacent car park are complete and is now officially open to visitors!

How do I get to the Meola Road entrance?

Turn off Great North Road and drive down Moa Road until you reach the intersection with Meola Road. Turn right until you get to the Meola Road entrance on your right.

Due to large scale events that happen in Western Springs, the area around MOTAT can become very busy and on rare occasions you might find it difficult to park at our Great North Road site. Not to worry however, as our aviation site which is located on Meola Road has ample parking. On these busy days we highly recommend visiting MOTAT Meola Road first. Once you've purchased a MOTAT ticket, take a complimentary tram ride to MOTAT Great North Road.

You can ride the trams as much as you want during your stay at MOTAT. Our trams run on regular half hour cycles each day.

Disabled Parking at MOTAT

Disabled car parking is available at both sites. Please call ahead to arrange disabled parking at MOTAT Great North Road. Call 09 815 5800 to speak to our helpful staff.
